About the Business

Around 35% of UK business’s fail in year one & approximately 50% of the rest close within five years. These are shocking figures and often the fault is unfortunately due to the, well-intentioned & hard-working, owner / manager never having run a business before and lacking the specialist experience, support & advice they need.

This has resulted in SME management being controlled almost single-handed by a visionary owner / manager, but with so little time on their hands, they lose sight of why they started the business in the first place, rushing from one problem to the next, with no clear path to achieve the goals that made them start-up in the first place & at the same time missing the key indicators of problems on the horizon.

With over a decade of management consultancy experience, coupled with the reassurance of the ibd network of experts, to help with more specialist tasks, we can offer you a brighter future for your business, advising & supporting you, with the aim of resolving any issues you may have – at a price that any small or medium business & SME can afford.

We understand that your position is the loneliest and toughest position in business today. Where do people like you find someone to share your ideas with, discuss your business with and who has the experience and knowledge to discuss the ideas and is totally impartial? Contact Avalon today and get the expert management help you need, to move your business forward and realise your goals.

Start Up Management Consultancy

If you run, or are thinking of creating, a start-up business then you may be in for a shock. Things have changed. There was a time when all you needed was a good idea, a yellow pages advert & phone number and you were set. Not anymore. The business world has changed dramatically over the past 20 years, even more so in recent times due to the recession. Whilst a few local businesses have gone global, a huge number of well known and less-well known retailers, manufacturers & suppliers have all failed, taking dreams, jobs and expertise with them.
