I'm highly driven, self-motivated and strive for professional and personal excellence in everything I do. Until May 2016 I had spent 21 years working for a holding company that started and continues to run numerous successful businesses. Having begun life with this company as a 'temp' in a junior position, I spent the last 16 years, in 2 of the businesses, as Managing Director.

I’m also a partner in an online luxury gift site which was established in 2015. Throughout my career I have acquired a high level of skills in a number of different business areas and have demonstrated that I know what is required to start a business and more importantly to grow it.

Known for having a very personable and honest approach, I have been able to motivate and lead teams in line with the strategic vision and corporate goals of the business. I have a genuine interest and passion in outstanding customer service and believe we all deserve top quality products and services. Who doesn’t?! This strong customer insight perspective coupled with a proven ability for paying attention to detail has enabled me to identify and successfully develop various business opportunities over the years.

Alongside my full time work, I have held a number of voluntary, unpaid positions over the years including a committee member at the local Pre-School, a Parish Councillor for several years and a Director/Trustee for a local charity for more than 4 years. I took up these positions to increase my learning and offer variety alongside my full time career, as well as to offer skills that were of benefit to these organisations.
